Caroling at Columbus
December 28, 2011.For many years now, the ladies and staff of our Columbus Group Home have been serenaded by the dulcet tones of a band of local carolers who come out right before Christmas, sing their hearts out for the grateful audience, distribute gifts for all, and leave behind a wonderful feeling of happiness and holiday spirit.
Headed by Kris Triolo and her son and daughter, Cody and Colby, the group includes their friends and neighbors, many of whom have attended for years.
This past December 22nd, the singers didn’t miss a beat as they sang “Rudolph, the Red-nosed Reindeer,” “Up on the Housetop,” “Santa Claus is Coming to Town,” and other favorites to the happy listeners who, as always, enjoy the performance and often sing along.
Thanks, Kris, Cody, Colby, Carie, Jane, Kelly, Shannon, and Jacob for taking time out of your own busy schedules to share your Christmas spirit with us! We hope to see you again in 2012!
