Our annual Step Up For the Arc Walk is our major fundraising event aimed at raising not only additional monies for the many programs we offer but also to raise awareness for the adults and children with intellectual and other developmental disabilities we serve. This year’s event takes place on Sunday, May 19th at the NJ Masonic Home , 902 Jacksonville Road, Burlington, NJ. Registration begins at 9 a.m. and we start to walk at 10 around a beautiful mile-long course. Afterwards, there’s plenty to eat, a fire truck to ride, a few surprises, and lots of walking buddies to enjoy being with. Everyone who donates a minimum of $25 receives a Step Up For the Arc Walk shirt, and for donations over $250, your name or company name will be prominently displpayed on the shirts worn by nearly 200 walkers!

Knights of Columbus Sacred Heart Council #5337 Grand Knight Nick Giovine and Past Grand Knight Dwayne Schmidt paid a visit to The Arc to present Executive Director Tom Parente with a very generous check from one of the many fundraising efforts Council #5337 holds throughout the year. But Sacred Heart is just once of the many local councils throughout Burlington County who have supported The Arc throughout the years, donations ranging from monetary donations to gift baskets at Christmas to providing refreshments amd gofts at some of our dances, to making sure that Santa Claus visits with gifts for all the Learn-A-Way families at Christmas time.
