The Arc's training department offers a variety of courses for residential and vocational staff. There is a fee for each, and payment arrangements and/or scheduling can be made by contacting Rick or Linda at (856) 764-9494.

• We provide certification for Standard First Aid, Adult CPR, Child CPR, Infant CPR and Professional Rescue CPR (through The American Red Cross); Overview of Developmental Disabilities, Preventing Abuse & Neglect, and Medications (through the Division of Developmental Disabilities); OSHA, Sexual Harassment, Basic Behavioral Management, Features of Mental Illness, Crisis Recognition and De-escalation, Lifting Techniques, IHP, Danielle’s Law, and Defensive Driving. (Completion of the Defensive Driving course entitles participants to reduced insurance premiums and point reduction through the State of New Jersey.)
